Messages from Belarus
Dear Kris and Kyle  and the entire Bucks county group,
We are sincerely moved by your compassion and remembrance(Of the Chernobyl Accident). It is really a tragic day for
our people which began a new era in the life of the Belarussian nation, the life with radiation and uncertainty what
future will bring.
We really appreciate your care and everything you do for those fortunate kids who will be accepted by the Bucks
County group. They will have a wonderful rest, they will feel fully your abundant care  and they will spend six weeks
away from the radiation. It will build up their immune system so much weakened by the constant exposure to the
invisable enemy. Besides, they will get a great lesson of Christian Love and it is equally important as going away from
the radiation.
With much appreciation and love, ABRO - Belarus   April 28,2002
Dear Friends,

One more wonderful summer has flied by. When we read host families’ responses to it the thought occurred – this
summer was the happiest and most memorable. But when we turn to the responses of summer 2002 we understand
that they were not less delightful. It is understandable – only the kindest people having great love for kids get involved
in programs like ABRO. And it ensures the success of the program, which exists for more than a decade already.
We liked the way John Hudgins wrote about “the memories of good times in America, the bodies strengthened and
refreshed; and the spirit awakened and uplifted”. This is the essence of the ABRO program – to give physical and
spiritual strength to children!
We appreciate a lot the sacrifices of host families. Alongside with blessings of hosting a child we know it is a hard
labor and some of you had to work really hard this summer. It was the work of heart and spirit for the sake of His
children!
We thank the Group Coordinators for their taking the burden of being responsible for the entire group!
We appreciate also the energy and wisdom the American ABRO Board inputs into the program so unselfishly and
without which the program would not function successfully.
May the Lord bless you all abundantly for it!
With the focus of ABRO program on orphans and kids from needy families (with not the best background), what you
and we do is getting harder on both sides, but more rewarding and exciting. Harder on your side because it not easy
to find a key to the heart of a child closed to the entire world. Harder on our side because some parents are so
indifferent to their children that without titanic efforts here the kids would not get to America. It was like that with the
siblings from Hickory TRG group and in a few more cases. We had the same aggravating experience with some
orphanages, which were reluctant to be cooperative.
But we appreciate your giving us this wonderful chance to help these kids who are in great need of love and care and
which they get thanks to you and us, and we also appreciate your valuing ABRO – Belarus contribution in it.
ABRO – Belarus is closing to have a short vacation and our translation service will not be working for a month. We
thank those families who supported it by sending their donations to compensate for postal, telephone, office
expenses and the time, and to reward the efforts of those who were doing it. Believe us it is time-consuming,
especially now with the growing interest not only in hosting a child but also in the adoption.
Thanks a lot for everything and we hope we will talk to you in no time!!!

Dear Host Families and all ABRO Friends,

Summer Program 2004 is over. It was as great and unforgettable as eleven
previous ones. The words "blessing" and "truly blessed" are the words most
frequently repeated in messages from different groups about their 2004
summer experiences.

It was even a greater blessing  for 562 Belarussian children that went to
America to improve their health and were hosted by American Christian
families through the ABRO program. And many more kind people - Group
Coordinators, doctors, dentists, ABRO volunteers also gave their hearts to
Belurussian kids so sacrificially. ABRO - America excellent work deserves
special thanks.

ABRO - Belarus expresses the most sincere thanks to everybody who was
involved in Summer Program 2004. May the Lord bless you richly for your kind
hearts open to children!
We look forward to seeing all the good things God through you and this
organization will continue to do.

ABRO - Belarus is going on a one-month holiday. We will resume providing our
translation service beginning with September 6. We offer all host families
who don't have other ways to communicate with their kids to take advantage
of it.

With much regards, ABRO - Belarus

Dear Host Families and Group Coordinators,
You opened your hearts and homes to Belarussian kids and touched their
lives in a very special way this summer again. Hundreds of Belarussian
people appreciate it so much and are in complete awe of you with these
words of gratitude coming straight from their hearts!
About 750 (this amount is unbelievable!!!) kids and chaperones will
hold within their hearts the warm and treasured memories of you and summer
2006. Your Mission of Christian Love with your sparing no time, efforts
and time will be like a beacon for them for many years to come.
Thank you for your love, friendship and prayers!
Thank you for your sacrifices!

With much appreciation,
On behalf of grateful children, their parents and guardians, ABRO –
Belarus

P.S. We are sending our very special thanks to Joe and Danita Strong.
It is such a blessing for ABRO - Belarus to have them, so industrious,
so understanding and caring! There are hundreds of other real ABRO
friends. We can’t name all of them, otherwise this appreciation letter would
be too long, but we want them to know that we love them dearly and
appreciate their input in the ABRO program so much! May God’s blessings be
poured out abundantly on you and your families!
